The Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) has supported the Tema Traditional Council with assorted drinks, cash and fuel coupons as part of activities marking this year’s Homowo festival.
The donation was presented on behalf of the Refinery by TOR’s General Manager for Human Resources and Administration.
The gesture forms part of TOR’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts and reflects the company’s commitment to supporting local communities and preserving Ghana’s cultural heritage.
The support is expected to contribute to the successful observance of the Homowo festival, an important cultural celebration of the people of Tema.
The Tema Traditional Council expressed appreciation to TOR for the gesture and its continued support for community development initiatives.
The Council acknowledged the Refinery’s partnership and contribution towards strengthening relations between the company and the traditional community.
TOR also extended its best wishes to the chiefs, elders and people of Tema, wishing them a joyful, peaceful and successful Homowo celebration.
