The aspiring National Youth Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has engaged the Youth Commissioners of the NDC Professionals Forum (PROFORUM) on strategies to strengthen the intellectual base of the party and deepen youth participation.
The engagement, held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, took place at Okai Mintah’s office at the June 10 House.
Discussions focused on ways to grow and sustain the party’s intellectual resources and effectively channel the expertise of professionals into activities of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN).
The meeting explored practical approaches to enabling TEIN chapters in tertiary institutions across the country to benefit from the knowledge and experience within PROFORUM.
According to Okai Mintah, stronger collaboration between the Professionals Forum and TEIN could help enrich the activities of the party’s student structures and enhance their contribution to the NDC’s broader vision.
He expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Youth Commission for their commitment and forward-looking ideas during the engagement.
The meeting forms part of Okai Mintah’s broader engagements with stakeholders as he seeks to build support for his bid to become the NDC’s National Youth Organizer.
