The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has scheduled Thursday, August 20, 2026, for its 32nd Ordinary Congress at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram in the Greater Accra Region.
The annual statutory gathering, convened in accordance with Article 31(2) of the GFA Statutes, will bring together representatives and key stakeholders of Ghanaian football to assess developments within the sport and determine the way forward.
The Congress will provide a platform for members to review the state of football in the country, with discussions expected to cover competitions, football development programmes, governance and the Association’s broader strategic direction.
According to the GFA, members have been duly notified of the Congress to enable them to prepare adequately for the meeting.
A formal convocation containing the agenda, activity reports, financial statements and auditors’ report will also be circulated to delegates ahead of the gathering.
The full-day Congress is expected to give the GFA Executive Council an opportunity to engage directly with club representatives, technical officials and other stakeholders on the progress and challenges facing Ghanaian football.
Delegates will review achievements made by the Association while considering measures to address existing challenges and improve the administration and development of the game.
The GFA has urged all delegates to study the relevant documents and prepare thoroughly ahead of the Congress to ensure meaningful and productive deliberations.
