The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has received a delegation from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) led by its Vice- Chancellor, Prof. Christian Agyare, at the Manhyia Palace in the Ashanti Region.
The visit, which took place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, and was to formally express appreciation to the Asantehene following Prof. Agyare’s investiture as Vice- Chancellor of the university over the weekend.
The KNUST delegation used the occasion to acknowledge the support and goodwill extended to the institution’s leadership and to reaffirm the university’s commitment to advancing its mandate in science, technology, innovation and national development.
Members of the delegation included the Registrar of KNUST, Mr. Benjamin Owusu Boampong; Finance Officer, Dr. Charles Nsiah; and University Relations Officer, Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe.
