Donewell Insurance Company Limited has strengthened its partnership with the Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA) by donating GHS150,000 towards the Association’s 150th anniversary celebrations and providing insurance coverage for MOBA Secretariat assets.
A senior delegation from Donewell Insurance, led by the company’s Chief Executive Officer and Board Member, visited the MOBA Secretariat at Wesley Towers on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, where the donation was presented.
The delegation was received by Ebusuapanyin Moses Baiden Jnr. and MOBA Executive Secretary, Divine Akaba.
The visit marked the beginning of a new partnership between MOBA and Donewell Insurance, aimed at promoting shared values of excellence, innovation and institutional sustainability.
Presenting the cheque on behalf of Donewell, Board Member Anthony Forson Jnr., together with CEO Isaac Kwakwa-Sarpong and other senior executives, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting the legacy of Mfantsipim School and its alumni network.
In addition to the financial support, Donewell Insurance pledged to provide full insurance coverage for all MOBA Secretariat assets for an undisclosed period as part of the partnership.
Speaking after the presentation, Ebusuapanyin Moses Baiden Jnr. expressed appreciation to the Board, management and staff of Donewell Insurance, describing the gesture as a demonstration of confidence in MOBA’s vision and legacy.
“We are grateful not just for the cheque, but for the confidence. This is what partnership looks like — protecting our present and securing our future,” he said.
Mr. Anthony Forson Jnr. noted that Donewell was pleased to collaborate with MOBA at a significant moment in the Association’s history, adding that both organisations share common values of excellence and innovation.
“We are pleased to partner with MOBA at this pivotal period. MOBA and Donewell share similar values in excellence and innovation and are also linked by our mutual relationship with the Methodist Church of Ghana,” he said.
He further encouraged MOBA to explore additional areas of collaboration with Donewell to deepen the partnership.
