Three more suspects in connection with the 2024 daylight robbery at a gold jewellery shop in Adabraka, bringing the total number of arrests in the case to six.

The latest suspects arrested on January 19, 2026, are Fatao Mohammed, also known as Motorway; Nashiru Abubakari, also known as Soldier; and Sadick Abubakar Satire, also known as 50 Cent. The police believe the trio are among the main leaders of the robbery syndicate.

The daylight attack, which occurred on November 2, 2024, shocked residents after masked gunmen fired shots to create panic, forced their way into a vehicle near the jewellery shop, and stole approximately GH¢7.5 million.

“The three are believed to be the main gang leaders of the robbery syndicate,” the Ghana Police Service said. “Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects.”

The Police Service has assured the public of its continued commitment to bringing all involved in the Adabraka robbery to justice.
