Three people have died following a fatal road crash on the Kyebi–Asikam road in the Eastern Region.
According to the Suhum Fire Station, the accident occurred on Monday, August 10, and involved a Toyota RAV4 with registration number CR 657-21 and a Kia Picanto, registered GC 2066-19.
A six-member fire crew arrived at the scene at about 3:30 p.m. and found the RAV4 badly damaged at the front, while the Kia Picanto had overturned into a pit.

The crew, with assistance from civilians, rescued the injured and transported them to the Kibi Government Hospital.
Two male occupants sustained injuries, while three occupants of the Kia Picanto were pronounced dead.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the RAV4 lost control, crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with the Kia Picanto.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage in the crash.
