The Ghana Police Service has debunked reports circulating on social media regarding an alleged ongoing recruitment exercise, warning the public against it
According to the Police in a statement dated Monday, June 23, there is no recruitment ongoing and therefore the described the information as false.
The Police emphasized that any legitimate recruitment process would be announced through official and verified communication channels.
The Service further warned the public against engaging with individuals or groups who promise recruitment opportunities in exchange for money, describing such offers as fraudulent.
The Police also assured that investigations are underway to identify and prosecute persons behind these illegal schemes, while calling on the public to report any suspected fraudulent activities related to police recruitment to the nearest police station.
