Emmanuel Kwasi Okai Mintah, Board Chairman of the National Service Authority and Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Wing Working Committee, has hosted the party’s Regional Youth Organizers at his office, the June 10 House, reaffirming his intention to contest for the position of National Youth Organizer when nominations are officially opened.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, July 30, Mintah said he formally informed the Regional Youth Organizers of his decision to seek the position during the meeting.
“A few hours ago, I had the privilege of hosting our Regional Youth Organizers at my office, the June 10 House. During the meeting, I formally communicated my intention to contest for the position of National Youth Organizer when the party opens nominations,” he wrote.
According to him, the meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss strategies for strengthening the NDC Youth Wing and consolidating its achievements.
“Beyond that announcement, the engagement provided us with an invaluable opportunity to deliberate and hold frank conversations on how best we can consolidate our gains as a Youth Wing. I am deeply grateful to the Regional Commanders Caucus for making the time to join us and, also thank them for their blessing and solidarity, for their wisdom and more importantly, for their candid and constructive contributions.”
Mintah further indicated that he would continue engaging stakeholders across the Youth Wing, stressing that sustained dialogue and collaboration are key to strengthening the party’s youth front.
Mintah had earlier declared his intention to contest for the National Youth Organizer position ahead of the NDC’s upcoming internal elections.
