Okai Mintah, an aspiring National Youth Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), has paid a courtesy call on former National Youth Organizer of the party, Sidi Abubakar, as he prepares to contest the position.
The visit was aimed at formally informing Mr Abubakar of his decision to enter the race and sharing his vision for leading the NDC Youth Wing.
Mr Mintah also used the meeting to seek the former youth organiser’s views, guidance and counsel ahead of the contest.
He said Mr Abubakar’s experience in the position had provided him with valuable insights that would be useful as he begins his campaign to lead the party’s youth wing.
Mr Mintah expressed appreciation to the former National Youth Organizer for his time, guidance, support and blessings as he embarks on his political journey.
The engagement forms part of Mr Mintah’s consultations with key figures within the NDC as he seeks support for his bid to become the party’s next National Youth Organizer.
He is expected to outline his vision and priorities for the Youth Wing as the contest progresses.
