An aspiring National Youth Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has begun engagements with key stakeholders as he prepares to contest the party’s upcoming National Youth Organizer position.
As part of his engagements, Mr Mintah paid a surprise visit to the headquarters of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), where he was received by the Board Chairman, Spencer Quaye, popularly known as Nii Sowa, and the Authority’s two Deputy Chief Executive Officers.
During the visit, Mr Mintah formally informed the DVLA leadership of his intention to contest for the position when nominations are opened.
He also appealed for their support as he seeks the mandate of NDC delegates to lead the party’s youth wing.
Mr Mintah expressed appreciation to the DVLA leadership for the warm reception, time and encouragement extended to him during the visit.
He also commended their continued support for grassroots mobilisation, particularly efforts aimed at empowering young people within the NDC.
His engagement forms part of preparations ahead of the party’s internal elections, as aspirants position themselves to secure the support of delegates across the country.
