Aspiring National Youth Organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has expressed his readiness to lead the party’s Green Army , pledging to build on the progress made by the organisation over the years .
In a message outlining his ambition, Mr. Mintah described himself as focused and prepared to take up the leadership role, popularly associated with mobilising and coordinating the party’s youth base, known as the “Green Army.”
He said his vision was to consolidate the gains made by the Youth Wing and take its activities and impact to the next level.
“Focused, prepared, and ready to lead the Green Army.
Together, we can build on the progress achieved within the Youth Wing and take it even further.
I am ready to lead that charge,” he stated.
Mr. Mintah also urged supporters to connect with his campaign, using the slogan “Get MINTED” as part of his outreach message.
His declaration comes as the NDC prepares for its internal electoral processes to select national officers who will oversee the party’s structures and mobilisation efforts.
The National Youth Organiser position is expected to play a key role in coordinating youth participation and strengthening the party’s engagement with young people across the country.
