Voting has commenced at the Offinso North Constituency polling centre in the Ashanti Region as 1,135 delegates participate in the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency executive elections.
The exercise forms part of the party’s nationwide internal elections to elect constituency executives and strengthen its grassroots structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The delegates are expected to cast their ballots to determine the party’s leadership at the constituency level.
The election is an important step in the NDC’s internal reorganisation, aimed at renewing its leadership and preparing its structures for future political activities.
The process is expected to provide delegates with the opportunity to choose leaders who will help coordinate the party’s activities and mobilise members within the constituency going into the 2028 general elections.
