The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) will be engaging petroleum service providers at the second edition of its downstream compliance workshop, aimed at strengthening regulatory adherence and improving operational standards within the sector.
The workshop forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance compliance, safety, and efficiency in Ghana’s petroleum downstream industry through sustained stakeholder engagement and education.
According to the Authority, the exercise will take place across the Central and Western Regions from June 30 to July 2, bringing together industry players to deliberate on regulatory requirements and best practices in fuel distribution and retail operations.
The initiative is expected to provide a platform for dialogue between regulators and petroleum service providers, with a focus on improving compliance monitoring and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
The NPA indicated that the workshop is part of its broader strategy to promote transparency, accountability, and operational discipline within the downstream petroleum sector.
The Authority is expected to share highlights and outcomes from the engagement sessions as the programme progresses across the two regions.
