The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has inspected ongoing road works along the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) stretch in the Greater Accra Region to assess progress on the project.
The inspection formed part of the Minister’s efforts to monitor ongoing road infrastructure projects and ensure that works are progressing as expected.
During the visit, Mr. Agbodza also met with the Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery, Edmond Kombat, for a brief interaction at the refinery.
The engagement provided an opportunity for the two officials to discuss infrastructure-related matters concerning the refinery and its surrounding areas.
TOR welcomed the Minister’s visit, describing the government’s continued attention to infrastructure in and around the refinery as important to improving access and supporting the facility’s operations.
The MD in a remark said improved road infrastructure would contribute to smoother access to the facility as it continues efforts towards its revival.
