Ghana has formally welcomed a group of newly accredited ambassadors and high commissioners as they begin their diplomatic assignments in the country, marking the start of a renewed phase of bilateral engagement across several regions of the world.
The envoys presented are expected to deepen cooperation between Ghana and their respective countries in areas such as trade, investment, education, culture, and international diplomacy.
The newly appointed Heads of Mission include H.E. Ronald Micallef, High Commissioner of the Republic of Malta; H.E. Andrei Ordash, Ambassador of the Russian Federation; H.E. Michal Cygan, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland; H.E. Bambang Suharto, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia; H.E. Isabel Lisbeth Quiel Murcia, Ambassador of Panama; H.E. Armen Sargsyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia; and H.E. Selestine Gervas Kakele, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Their arrival is expected to further strengthen Ghana’s longstanding diplomatic relations with partner countries and open new opportunities for collaboration in economic development, technical cooperation, and cultural exchange.
President John Mahamas welcomed the envoys and reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to maintaining strong, peaceful, and mutually beneficial international partnerships.
The new ambassadors are expected to present their letters of credence in the coming days, officially formalizing their status as representatives of their respective countries to Ghana.
