The Ghana Medical Trust Fund has intensified its engagement with the Multimedia Group as part of efforts to strengthen public awareness about the Fund’s activities and ensure more Ghanaians are informed about available healthcare support services.

As part of this initiative, the Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, Adjoa Obuobia Darko- Opoku, led a delegation on a courtesy call to the Chief Operating Officer of Multimedia Group, Ken Ansah, and the company’s senior management team.

The visit was aimed at deepening collaboration between the two institutions and exploring ways to further amplify public education on the Trust Fund’s mandate and interventions.

Speaking during the engagement, officials of the Trust Fund acknowledged the significant role the media plays in connecting people with critical information, particularly in areas relating to healthcare and social support.

They noted that for many individuals facing medical challenges, access to timely and accurate information can be the difference between enduring hardship in silence and receiving the assistance they need.

The Fund expressed appreciation to Multimedia Group for its continued support over the past several months, highlighting the media organization’s willingness to provide platforms for discussions on healthcare financing, patient support, and the work of the Trust Fund.

According to the delegation, the partnership has contributed significantly to raising awareness about the Fund and helping more people understand the assistance available to them.

Adjoa Obuobia Darko- Opoku emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration with the media, describing it as a vital tool in ensuring that information reaches vulnerable individuals and communities across the country.

She expressed optimism that the strengthened partnership would further enhance public understanding of the Trust Fund’s work and encourage more people in need to seek support.

The Multimedia Group, for its part, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that improve the well-being of Ghanaians through public education and awareness creation.

Both institutions pledged to continue working together to promote access to information and ensure that individuals requiring medical support are aware of the resources available to them.
