The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Edem Agbana, has congratulated the Chairperson of Ghana’s Public Accounts Committee, Abena Osei-Asare, on her re-election as Vice-Chairperson of the African Organisation of Public Accounts Committees (AFROPAC).
In a congratulatory message, Mr Agbana described the re-election as a testament to her leadership and the confidence her colleagues across the continent have in her ability to serve.
He said the achievement was a source of pride for Ghana and wished her success as she continues to represent Ghana’s Parliament and the Public Accounts Committee on the continental platform.
Mr Agbana also commended her continued contribution to the work of public accounts committees across Africa.
He concluded by congratulating the former Deputy Minister of Finance once again and wishing her well in her renewed role.
