His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse, has paid a working visit to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) as part of efforts to deepen collaboration on road safety and efficient transport administration.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Ga Mantse and the DVLA to engage on issues concerning road safety and the effective administration of driver and vehicle licensing services.

The engagement forms part of broader efforts to strengthen cooperation between traditional authorities and state institutions in addressing challenges within Ghana’s transport sector.

The collaboration is expected to contribute to efforts aimed at promoting responsible driving, improving road safety and supporting efficient transport administration in the Greater Accra Region.

The visit also underscores the important role traditional leaders can play in supporting public education and initiatives designed to reduce road crashes and improve compliance with road traffic regulations.
