Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Yusif Sulemana, has paid a working visit to three subsidiaries of the Lagata Group of Companies as part of efforts to deepen Ghana’s engagement with strategic investors and promote industrial development.
The visit, which took place on June 20, 2026, saw the Deputy Minister and his delegation tour the operations of Boden Industry Limted, Breeze Industry, and Sonata Agri International Limited.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the delegation with the operations, products, and services of the companies and to gain insight into their contributions to economic development in the various countries where they operate.
During the tour, management of the companies briefed the delegation on their manufacturing processes, business operations, and investment strategies.
They highlighted the role their activities have played in advancing industrialization, creating employment opportunities, facilitating technology transfer, modernizing agriculture, and driving economic growth across multiple markets.
The companies also showcased their production facilities and outlined plans aimed at expanding their operations and strengthening their contribution to sustainable development.
Addressing management after the tour, Hon. Sulemana commended the companies for their achievements and the significant impact they have made in the countries where they operate.
He noted that Ghana remains committed to promoting industrialization and attracting investments that support the government’s broader economic transformation agenda.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of partnerships between government and the private sector in driving innovation, job creation, and sustainable economic growth.
He further assured the companies of the government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for businesses and investors to thrive.
