Former Constituency Chiarman for Lower Manya Krobo and MCE Aspirant, Hon. David Walter Hormenu has extended heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the party’s Appointments Committee following his participation in the national vetting process.
In a public statement released on May Day, Hon. Hormenu thanked the NDC leadership for offering him the platform to present his vision for service, describing the opportunity as a significant milestone in his political journey.
“I am deeply grateful for the confidence you have placed in me, and for the progress I have made through your recommendations,” he said.
He also expressed gratitude to Member of Parliament for Lower Manya Krobo, Hon. Okletey Terlabi, for his unwavering support, as well as to traditional leaders, clergy, party members, Assembly Members, and the larger community for their prayers and encouragement.
“Your steadfast support has kept me grounded and motivated,” he added, while also acknowledging the support of his family, friends, and campaign team.
In a spirit of unity and collaboration, Hon. Hormenu extended warm congratulations to Mr. John Atteh Matey, the President’s nominee for the position of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Manya Krobo Municipality.
“I pledge my full and unwavering support to Mr. Matey,” he stated. “I am committed to sharing my experience and energy to help advance the development of our municipality and improve the lives of our people.”
Hon. Hormenu also called on his supporters and well-wishers to support the nominee to ensure a smooth and effective administration.
“I urge all to rally behind Mr. Matey. Let us work together for the greater good of Manya Krobo,” he concluded.
