Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Nuhu Sharubutu to seek prayers and blessings as he prepares to embark on a new chapter in his career.
The visit, which underscored the goalkeeper’s respect for spiritual guidance, saw Asare receive words of encouragement and prayers from the Chief Imam.
In a message following the meeting, the Black Stars shot-stopper expressed appreciation for the warm reception and spiritual support he received.
According to Asare, the Chief Imam offered words of wisdom, encouragement and heartfelt prayers, which he described as deeply inspiring as he looks ahead to the next phase of his journey.
“I am truly grateful for his guidance and support,” the goalkeeper said.
Although Benjamin Asare did not disclose details of the new journey he is preparing to undertake, the visit has been viewed as a demonstration of his commitment to seeking spiritual guidance ahead of an important milestone in his career.
The goalkeeper has earned widespread recognition for his performances with the Black Stars and continues to be regarded as one of Ghana’s promising talents between the posts.
