The Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) has hosted a delegation from the Eswatini National Petroleum Company (ENPC) as part of a study visit aimed at sharing best practices across the oil and gas value chain.
The delegation visited TOR on Monday, October 5, 2026, to gain first-hand knowledge of the operations and systems of Ghana’s premier oil refinery.
During the visit, the ENPC team was taken through TOR’s refining processes, safety practices and systems supporting the supply of petroleum products to the Ghanaian market.
The two sides also exchanged experiences on the management and operation of national energy infrastructure, with discussions focusing on ways national oil companies can strengthen energy security.
The Deputy MD of TOR, Mustapha Abubakar in a remark said the visit formed part of its commitment to knowledge sharing and collaboration with national oil companies across Africa.
“We were delighted to host our counterparts from Eswatini and share TOR’s experience.
Collaboration between national oil companies is essential to strengthening energy security across Africa,” the refinery said.
TOR added that it remained committed to building partnerships and sharing expertise with national oil companies as part of efforts to promote a secure, sustainable and self-reliant African energy sector.
The refinery expressed appreciation to the ENPC delegation for its interest and wished the team a productive study tour in Ghana.
