President John Dramani Mahama has held talks with Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, Han Zheng, on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two sides to discuss ways of deepening relations between Ghana and China and advancing areas of mutual interest.
The engagement forms part of President Mahama’s diplomatic activities on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, where world leaders and senior government officials are holding discussions on global and bilateral issues.
President Mahama and Vice President Han Zheng are expected to explore opportunities for further cooperation between Ghana and China in areas of mutual interest.
