Former Deputy Minister for Defence, Ernest Brogya Genfi, has assured stakeholders in the Volta Region that the Presidency is prepared to help clear avoidable bottlenecks and coordinate credible investment projects to accelerate development in the region.
Mr. Brogya Genfi represented the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, at the 2026 Asogli Teza Edition of the Volta Economic Forum, held in Ho on Wednesday.
Speaking on behalf of the Chief of Staff, Mr. Brogya Genfi said the Presidency remained ready to work with stakeholders to address challenges that could hinder investment and development initiatives in the Volta Region.
He assured participants that efforts would be made to improve coordination around credible investment projects and remove unnecessary obstacles that could delay their implementation.
The engagement brought together stakeholders interested in promoting economic development and investment in the Volta Region.
Mr. Brogya Genfi expressed appreciation to HRM Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, who chaired the forum.
He also thanked the Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, and the Volta Regional Representative on the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), Dr. Elikpim Apetorgbor, for hosting the event.
