The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has paid a courtesy call on the newly enstooled Asantehemaa, Nana Yaa Akyaa II, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The visit was to congratulate Nana Yaa Akyaa II on her enstoolment and to pay his respects to the Asantehemaa.
During the visit, Dr Bawumia also sought the blessings and goodwill of Nana Yaa Akyaa II as he continues to pursue his vision for the presidency.
The engagement forms part of Dr Bawumia’s interactions with traditional leaders and other stakeholders as he advances his campaign for 2028 elections.
