Ghanaian musician, producer and songwriter Victoria Adedzewaa Stokes, popularly known as Adez, has died.
Adez rose to prominence in 2006 after representing the Western Region in the second season of the popular music reality show Mentor. by TV3.
Her death was announced by veteran Ghanaian musician, producer and songwriter Obofour Raphael, who shared the news on social media.
According to Obofour Raphael, he had spoken with Adez as recently as last Thursday, making the news of her passing particularly unexpected.
Adez was part of the popular Mentor 2 trio alongside fellow contestants Kofi and Joe, with the group becoming one of the memorable acts from the second season of the reality show.
