The Executive Director of the Jatikay Centre for Human Security and Peace Building, Adiib Saani, has declared his intention to contest for a position on the National Executive Committee of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The National Executive Committee (NEC) of National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a top governing body responsible for steering the party’s strategic affairs, internal reorganizations, and supervising its election roadmaps.
Mr Saani joins other party members seeking to serve on the NDC’s National Executive Committee as the party prepares for its upcoming internal elections.
His decision is expected to bring his experience in human security and peace building into the party’s national leadership contest.
Mr Saani, who is known for his work in peace and security advocacy, is expected to outline his vision and priorities for the party as he engages delegates and members ahead of the elections.
