An unidentified man has been found dead at Asawase A-Line in the Asokore Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Security personnel responded to the scene on Thursday, July 23, where they began gathering evidence to determine what led to the man’s death. Authorities have yet to establish the victim’s identity, and no official cause of death has been disclosed.
The incident adds to growing security concerns in the municipality, coming shortly after the reported death of Yussif Zakari at Sabon Zongo. Zakari allegedly lost his life after being assaulted, an incident that has sparked renewed worries about violent crime in parts of the municipality.
Police say investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
