Former Member of Parliament for Offinso South Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Alhaji Ben Abdallah Banda, has extended his congratulations to the newly elected constituency executives of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Offinso South following the party’s internal elections.
In a message to the newly elected officers, the former lawmaker wished them success in their new roles and urged them to work diligently towards strengthening the party’s structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.
According to him, preparations for victory in the next national elections must begin immediately, stressing that the contribution of every party member would be crucial to achieving that objective.
Alhaji Banda also appealed to aspirants who were unsuccessful in the constituency elections to remain committed to the party and continue to support its activities despite their defeat.
He emphasised the need for unity and reconciliation within the party, noting that collective effort and cohesion would be essential in securing electoral success in 2028.
The former Offinso South MP further called on party members to rally behind the NPP’s 2028 presidential candidate, former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, expressing confidence that a united front would position the party for victory in the next general elections.
