The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today hold its constituency executive elections across the country as part of efforts to reorganise its structures at the grassroots level.
Party members and delegates in all 275 constituencies are expected to vote to elect new constituency executives who will oversee party activities and mobilisation ahead of future political engagements.
The elections form part of the NPP’s internal restructuring process aimed at strengthening its base, improving party administration, and preparing the party for the 2028 general elections.
The newly elected executives will be responsible for coordinating party activities within their respective constituencies, supporting grassroots mobilisation, and implementing party strategies at the local level.
The party has urged all stakeholders, including aspirants, delegates and supporters, to ensure a peaceful and transparent electoral process that reflects the democratic values of the NPP.
