Friends, partners and stakeholders in Ghana have joined the United States community to commemorate “Freedom 250,” a celebration marking 250 years since the declaration of American independence.
The event brought together diplomats, government representatives, business leaders, and members of the Ghanaian community to reflect on the longstanding relationship between Ghana and the United States and celebrate shared values of freedom, democracy, and partnership.
The celebration formed part of global activities marking the historic anniversary of the United States’ independence, highlighting the enduring ties between both countries in areas including trade, development, security, education, and cultural exchange.
Participants used the occasion to reaffirm the importance of continued cooperation and collaboration between Ghana and the United States in advancing mutual interests and strengthening bilateral relations.
