The management of Ghana Communications Technology University (GCTU) has temporarily suspended all academic lectures following the recent floods that affected some students.
In a notice issued to the university community, management announced that both online and face-to-face lectures have been suspended until Monday, July 6, 2026, to allow affected students time to recover from the impact of the floods.
The university said the decision was taken in response to the devastating effects of the flooding on members of the student population.
Management assured students and staff that further updates regarding the resumption of academic activities would be communicated through the university’s official channels.
The university also expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the temporary suspension and appealed for the understanding and cooperation of the entire university community as recovery efforts continue.
