President John Dramani Mahama is set to embark on a working visit to the Republic of Korea from 10 to 14 March 2026.
During the trip, President Mahama is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with the President of South Korea, Lee Jae Myung, and meet with the Speaker of the Korean National Assembly, Woo Won-shik.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Member of Parliament and Spokesperson to the President, confirmed the itinerary in a statement dated Sunday 8 March 2026.
The visit will also see the President participate in a ship-naming ceremony at the Hyundai Shipyard in Ulsan and deliver a speech at a Conferment Ceremony at Yonsei University.
Other planned activities include an evening with Ghanaians living, studying, and working in South Korea, as well as a dinner meeting with leading Chief Executives and business owners.
The visit aims to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Ghana and the Republic of Korea, while highlighting opportunities for collaboration in trade, education, and industry.
