Aspiring National Youth Organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has reaffirmed his commitment to serving the party and advancing the interests of young people as he seeks to lead the party’s youth wing.
Mintah said service had always been central to his identity, adding that serving the NDC remained one of his top priorities after dedicating much of his adult life to the party.
“Service has always been at the heart of who I am, and serving the NDC remains a top priority,” he said.
He expressed readiness to lead the party’s youth wing, popularly known as the Green Army, to greater heights while ensuring that the concerns and aspirations of young people remain central to the party’s agenda.
Mintah also pledged to champion youth interests and work towards ensuring that no young person is left behind.
He emphasised the need for action, signalling his intention to translate his commitment to the party and its youth into practical efforts if given the mandate to serve as National Youth Organiser.
“It is time for action,” he stated.
