The National Identification Authority (NIA), in partnership with Identity Management Systems II (IMS II), is set to provide Diaspora Ghanacard registration services during the 2026 edition of Ghana Party in the Park in London.
The initiative will allow Ghanaians living abroad to complete their Ghanacard registration process without travelling to Ghana.
The registration exercise will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Copthall Playing Fields, London, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., as part of efforts to improve access to Ghana’s national identification services for citizens in the diaspora.
According to the NIA, applicants are required to complete their online registration, make payment, and undertake a virtual interview before attending the event for biometric capture and issuance of their Ghanacards.
The Authority encouraged eligible Ghanaians in the United Kingdom, including those attending Ghana Party in the Park and others residing in London, to take advantage of the opportunity to register.
The NIA advised applicants to complete the online process and book an appointment before visiting the registration booth at the event.
The Ghanacard, issued by the NIA, serves as Ghana’s national identification document and is used to access a wide range of public and private services.
