The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) is set to hold another edition of its Campus Connect programme at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), aimed at deepening awareness and expanding student engagement on access to quality healthcare under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
The outreach will be led by the Chief Executive Officer of the NHIA, Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, together with a team from the Authority.
The initiative forms part of NHIA’s broader effort to bring healthcare education closer to young people, particularly on the benefits, registration processes, and importance of maintaining active NHIS membership.
Through the Campus Connect engagement, the Authority is expected to interact directly with students, address concerns about the scheme, and encourage greater participation in the national health insurance system.
