The governing National Democratic Congress(NDC’s) regional nomination process has officially opened, with prospective candidates required to complete the process within deadlines set by the party.
According to the nomination notice, the picking of nomination forms will close at 5:00 p.m. on October 8.
Candidates who pick the forms may pay their filing fees and submit Form A online at any time before 5:00 p.m. on October 15.
The notice urged candidates to ensure that all information submitted is accurate and to avoid waiting until the last minute to complete the process.
It also stated that there would be no part payments and no refunds.
In-person filing of completed nomination documents will take place from October 14 to 15, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day at the regional party office.
Candidates are expected to submit Forms A, B and C, postcard photographs and their Curriculum Vitae as part of the in-person filing process.
The notice further cautioned prospective candidates that bank payments and banker’s drafts will not be accepted, warning that anyone who chooses to make such payments would do so at their own risk.
The party has directed candidates to use its designated online platform to access the nomination forms and complete the required stages of the process.
