The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Malik Basintale, is expected to appear at the Government Accountability Series this morning to account for his stewardship and outline measures taken to boost youth employment in Ghana.
The engagement will provide an opportunity for the YEA chief executive to present an update on the agency’s activities, initiatives and interventions aimed at creating employment opportunities for young people.
The session is also expected to highlight efforts by the agency to address youth unemployment and demonstrate how its programmes are contributing to the government’s broader employment agenda.
The Government Accountability Series serves as a platform for public officials to account for their stewardship and provide information on the implementation of government policies and programmes under the auspices of the Minister for Government Communications and Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.
Mr Basintale’s appearance is expected to bring attention to the Youth Employment Agency’s role in providing job opportunities and supporting young people to participate in Ghana’s economic development.
