The late founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, is reported to have stated in his will that only his male descendants should succeed him as leaders of the Kristo Asafo Nation of Ghana.
According to an extract from the document, Apostle Dr. Safo Kantanka expressed his wish that the leadership position should be passed from generation to generation through his male lineage.
The clause, identified as Paragraph 27 of the will, states that only his male child and a male child of his male child should occupy the position of leader of the Kristo Asafo Nation of Ghana.
The document further directs that any male descendant who assumes the leadership role should bear the name “Safo” as part of the succession arrangement.
The extract was made public by private legal practitioner Lawyer Gary Nimako Marfo.
Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, who founded the Kristo Asafo Mission and was known for his contributions to indigenous technology, innovation and religious leadership, passed away leaving behind a legacy that spans faith, education and industrial development.
