Ghana Medical Trust Fund receiving donations to support patients with Non-Communicable Diseases

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) it is continuing receiving a donation aimed at supporting individuals living with Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), in a gesture described as a demonstration of empathy, leadership, and solidarity with patients and their families.

The contributions are expected to help ease the financial burden associated with the treatment and management of chronic health conditions while bringing hope to beneficiaries across the country.

Officials of the Trust Fund expressed gratitude to the donors for the support, noting that the contribution would have a meaningful impact on the lives of many Ghanaians battling Non-Communicable Diseases.

According to the Fund, the donations reflect a shared commitment to improving healthcare outcomes and ensuring that vulnerable patients receive the assistance they need.

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund further emphasized the importance of partnerships and philanthropic support in advancing its mission of providing life-saving interventions and reducing the challenges faced by patients and their families.

On behalf of the Trust Fund and its beneficiaries, the Administrator of the Fund, Adwoa Oboubia Darko-Opoku conveyed their appreciation for the generous gesture, describing it as a significant contributions toward improving access to healthcare and enhancing the quality of life of those living with Non-Communicable Diseases.

The Fund continues to appeal to corporate institutions, philanthropists, and well-meaning individuals to support its efforts to expand healthcare assistance and bring relief to more patients in need across Ghana.
