More than 10 young men and women from the Bole-Bamboi Constituency have successfully graduated as members of the Feed Ghana Brigades, a flagship initiative aimed at strengthening Ghana’s agricultural sector through youth participation.

The graduation ceremony was held on Wednesday morning at the Tesano Police Training School, where about 500 recruits completed their training.

The graduates from Bole-Bamboi were part of the nationwide cohort of young people who have volunteered to contribute their skills and dedication towards transforming Ghana’s agriculture under the Feed Ghana programme.

The initiative seeks to equip the youth with the knowledge and expertise needed to support agricultural production and extension services across the country.

According to the Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Dr. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, the participation of the constituency’s youth in the programme reflects their commitment to supporting national development through agriculture.

He congratulated all the graduates for embracing the opportunity to serve the country.

Dr. Sulemana also commended the Ministry of Food and Agriculture for introducing the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that will empower young people while boosting food production and agricultural productivity nationwide.

He expressed optimism that the newly trained Feed Ghana Brigades would play a vital role in ensuring that the Bole District fully benefits from the Farmers Service Centre earmarked for the district, thereby contributing to increased agricultural output and improved livelihoods in the area.
