The management of Ghana National Gas Limited Company has dismissed reports alleging that the current administration of the company acquired a property at No. 225 Osibisa Close in Airport West, Accra, at an inflated price.
In a statement issued on July 7, 2026, the company described the publications as false and misleading, insisting that the current management played no role in the acquisition of the property.
According to Ghana Gas, the property was acquired under a previous administration and later became the subject of adverse findings contained in the 2024 report of the Auditor-General’s Department.
The company further disclosed that issues relating to the transaction are currently under investigation by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) and other relevant state investigative bodies.
Management of Ghana Gas said it remains fully committed to cooperating with the ongoing investigations and expressed confidence that the findings would confirm that the current administration had no involvement in the acquisition of the property.
The company also urged the media and the public to disregard what it described as inaccurate reports and to verify information before publishing or sharing claims relating to the matter.
Ghana Gas reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability, good corporate governance and the prudent management of public resources.
