Police in Axim have arrested three young men believed to be behind a series of robbery incidents in the Western Region, particularly within the Tarkwa Nsuaem area.
In a statement by the Police, the suspects were apprehended on Monday, June 2, 2025, following an intelligence-led operation carried out by the Axim Divisional Police Command.
The suspects — identified as 21-year-old Emmanuel Arthur, also known as “Possible”, Elisha Arthur, alias “Sconzy”, also 21, and David Agyarko, known as “Big Man”, aged 22 — were arrested at their hideout in Axim.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the three are linked to a number of robbery cases reported in and around Tarkwa.
Police say they had been on the radar of law enforcement for some time.
The suspects have since been transferred to the Western Central Police Command for further investigations and possible prosecution.
