The Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA) has been honoured with the Old Schools Alumni Legacy Boys School of the Year 2026 award at a ceremony held in Accra.
The award was presented on the evening of September 26, 2026, at the Mövenpick Hotel, where the MOBA Secretariat Executive Team, led by Executive Secretary Divine Akaba, received the recognition on behalf of the Association.
Joseph Dadson, popularly known as Papi, a member of the MOBA Executive Committee, joined other old boys at the event.
The recognition comes as MOBA intensifies efforts to strengthen its governance structures, innovation initiatives and institutional development ahead of the Association’s 150th anniversary.
At the same event, Ebusuapanyin Moses Kwesi Baiden was recognised by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana as the Old Schools Alumni Digital and Technology Executive of the Year 2026.
The recognitions highlight MOBA’s recent initiatives, including the MOBA Annual National Conference, MOBA Annual Engagement Series and digital platforms aimed at connecting old boys globally.
The Association has also pursued strategic partnerships with corporate institutions as part of efforts to expand its impact and strengthen its alumni network.
MOBA said the awards reinforce its commitment to innovation, structured governance and sustainable institutional growth as it prepares for its historic 150th anniversary.
The Association reaffirmed its commitment to providing leadership in alumni engagement and development across Africa.
