Aspiring National Youth Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has met with Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) from across the country to share his vision for a more proactive, organised and impactful NDC Youth Wing.
The meeting, held on Wednesday, September 23, at the June 10 House, also provided Mr. Mintah with an opportunity to seek the counsel and guidance of the MMDCEs as he pursues his bid for the position.
Mr. Mintah expressed appreciation to the MMDCEs for their support, encouragement and advice during the engagement.
According to him, his vision is to lead an NDC Youth Wing that will strengthen political organisation and mobilisation across the country.
He said he was committed to building a youth wing capable of driving what he described as “unprecedented political organisation and mobilisation” nationwide.
Mr. Mintah expressed confidence in the possibility of achieving his vision, stressing the importance of collective effort in strengthening the party’s youth structures.
The engagement forms part of his activities as he seeks support and guidance ahead of the NDC’s internal process for the selection of a National Youth Organizer.
