The second edition of the Member Parliament for Weija-Gbawe’s freshers fund has supported more than 1,000 students entering Senior High School (SHS) as they begin a new phase of their academic journey.
The initiative through the JAS Foundation is aimed at providing support to fresh SHS entrants and helping ease some of the challenges associated with transitioning into secondary education.
Mr Jerry Ahmed Shaib said the programme reflects a commitment to supporting education and empowering young people as they pursue their academic goals.
According to him, the initiative is also positioned as part of efforts to invest in the next generation and contribute to building a stronger future through education.
He said the initiative is themed “Supporting education. Empowering our youth. Building the future.”
