The incumbent National Youth Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has withdrawn from the race for the position of National Organiser in October 3, national officers eletion at Kumasi.
Mr. Mustapha, popularly known as SM, had expressed interest in contesting the position as the party prepares for its upcoming national executive elections.
His decision to withdraw changes the dynamics of the contest for the National Organiser position, with other aspirants expected to continue their campaigns ahead of the elections.
Salam Mustapha remains the incumbent National Youth Organiser of the NPP, a position he has held as part of the party’s current national leadership.
