Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority(NPA), Mr Godwin Tameklo, is expected to participate as a guest speaker at a seminar on “Conflict and Nation Building” organised by the Centre for African Studies of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW).
The seminar, scheduled for Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Jophus Anamoa-Mensah Conference Centre, UEW, will be held under the theme: “Balancing Growth, Peace and Development in Africa.”
Mr Tameklo will speak on the topic “The Role of the Youth in Protecting the Peace in the Sub-Region,” where he is expected to highlight the importance of youth involvement in sustaining peace, promoting stability and contributing to national development.
The event forms part of efforts by the Centre for African Studies to create platforms for dialogue on pressing issues affecting Africa, particularly the relationship between peace, development and inclusive growth.
The seminar is expected to bring together academics, students, policy experts, traditional leaders and other stakeholders to deliberate on strategies for addressing conflicts and strengthening peace-building initiatives across the continent.
