The Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Ghana, H.E. Gariballa Khidir Ali Eldaw, has paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, as both countries seek to strengthen cooperation in the gold sector.
The meeting highlighted the longstanding bilateral relations between Ghana and Sudan and provided an opportunity for discussions on expanding collaboration in responsible gold governance, trade and investment.
During the engagement, both sides expressed their commitment to deepening partnerships aimed at improving cooperation within the gold industry and creating mutual economic benefits for the two countries.
The discussions also focused on promoting responsible practices in the gold value chain, strengthening trade relations and exploring opportunities for investment between Ghana and Sudan.
The visit forms part of ongoing efforts by both countries to enhance diplomatic and economic ties through strategic partnerships in key sectors, including natural resources.
